Happy days! Since I picked up my camera again in 2013 (after a couple of years of not shooting very much at all) I had hopes and dreams of one day becoming a fully accredited professional photographer with the AIPP, The Australian Institute of Professional Photography. The industry standard in the photographic industry.
You might have never even heard of it and wonder why it's important to you. And does it make a difference?
Well, yes, it actually does. Should you be on the hunt for a photographer, look for the AIPP logo because it will basically give you peace of mind that you will get a high standard of photography, service and products. We are bound by strict industry standards which are in place to make sure you, the client, get exactly what you expect and pay for. To me, that means everything.
So of course I am super proud to have been accepted into the AIPP and had to share it with you all! And I am even more excited that I can now proudly say to all my clients, current and future, that yep, I am now a certified, bonafide, 100% professional photographer (*insert hop, skip and happy dance*)

There is a bit of divide when it comes to before and after photos, and I do understand why. Some of you love them, seek them out on photographers’ websites and some of you, well, you really don’t. Soooo…I want to explain why we do them and how they can be an important way for potential clients to see just what it is we actually do.
I am coming to Palm Springs! Book Your Dream Shoot in the Desert with me today, only very limited spots. Let's spend a day together on an adventure and be photographed like a Goddess in a fashion magazine OR as a desert boho wanderer in search of her roots. However you dream of being photographed, I can make it happen! Because you know, life is made of little moments like these made into life long memories.
